Welcome to Carive

We registered with The Kennel Club in October 2000. I have been breeding and showing dogs since 1993. My first dog was a Yorkshire Terrier who I started showing at exemption shows.

I bought my first Pom in 1993 and showed her at exemption shows also. In 1997 I started campaigning her a little more seriously at open shows. It was while I was showing my poms that I saw my first Miniature Pinschers. I bought my first Miniature Pinscher in 1999. Since then I have made up 4 min pin champions and gained numerous CC's with my dogs.

I'm on the Miniature Pinscher A3 judging list. I also own Miniature Poodles. My first one was a gift to me from my mum and I occasionally breed a litter to keep her line going. Over the last couple of years I've also branched out into working Cocker Spaniels.

I enjoy training them, whilst my partner takes them with him to work alongside him as a gamekeeper's gun dogs and companions.

Here at Carive I pride myself on producing dogs with good health and temperaments, which is a vital part of looking for a pet who will fit into any lifestyle.

Visitors are always welcome to come and meet all our dogs. I don't believe in only showing you a few, we are proud of all our dogs here and are happy to show them off by appointment only as we do have a busy life and need to make sure we have the time to show you around.

We also like new puppy owners to visit as often as they like to see their new puppy before taking them home. I have a breeding license with the local council which means our kennels are up to date on standard of welfare which is very important in knowing where your new puppy is coming from.

Please be aware that, when you enquire about a puppy, I will also be asking questions about yourselves and your home life to make sure that you are able to provide a suitable home for one of my pups.
